Professional Biography

David is an international Hotelier with over 32 years of hospitality experience where he started his career within the Commercial environment for many of the leading International Hospitality Management Brands from Marriott, IHG, Shangri-La, Kempinski, Mandarin Oriental and Las Vegas Sands Corp. From 2008 he moved into Commercial and Operations and over the last 10 years moved into the Boutique Hospitality Management environment where he conducted Asset Acquisition and Management on behalf of the Royal Family of UAE to develop their Hospitality Portfolio and most recently for a Singaporean Hospitality Management Company.

The majority of David’s career has been working in both Asia Pacific and Middle East as an experienced operations, development, and commercial leader with an emphasis on operational excellence and developing people to achieve their goals and ambitions. Proven revenue generator in all market conditions with ability to adapt to any working environment and leadership style to maximize opportunities and revenue. Fostering a solution orientated mindset with the leadership team to address challenges and optimize opportunities for Owners.

Qualifications

He completed Cornell University’s Hospitality Management E-Cornell course and was IHG Middle East Train the Trainer for Commercial Training for 5 years and as well as completing HACCP ISO9002 Food Hygiene.

David enjoys exploring the world with his wife, riding his motorbike, eating good food and spending quality time with his dog.
