It is with great sadness that Hotel Solutions Partnership announce the sudden and unexpected death of our long-standing friend and colleague, Russel Sharpe, in Dubai last week.

Russell was a well-known and well respected member of the hotel industry in the Middle East for over 30 years, with a career taking in spells at Holiday Inn, Meridien, Premier Inn and of late, as Chief Operating Officer at City Max hotels.

As an Ambassador for Hotel Solutions Partnership in Dubai for over five years, Russel has worked on a number of assignments with HSP team members in the region, and will be greatly missed by all of us.

Our thoughts are with Russel’s family at this sad time.
