Background The client had substantial and advanced plans to create an extremely high-quality and environmentally sustainable mixed-use development over several hectares. The proposed development comprised significant retail, leisure, and commercial elements, together with at least two potential hotels.
Client Need The client required a detailed hotel market study, and detailed recommendations for optimal hotel developments over a 25-year timeframe. HSP was required to provide hotel feasibility studies and specific hotel development and design advice which were integrated into the overall project development masterplan and strategic design briefs. HSP acted as the client’s specialist hotel development and hotel design advisor.
