What did Hotel Solutions Partnership achieve for the client?

HSP was engaged to determine the hotel’s ideal positioning in the market, develop a brand, brand values, interior design brief and communications strategy.

Background

The 153-room Titanic Hotel is located on Liverpool’s Stanley Dock. The site was a derelict warehouse which has now been converted into a unique four-star hotel. Each of the hotel’s bedrooms is double the size of the standard UK four-star bedroom. Exposed brickwork and original features give the hotel its unique look.

Project objective

The hotel needed a brand identity that would appeal to both business customers looking for a conveniently-located modern hotel and leisure guests searching for a taste of Liverpool’s rich history.

Project scope

  • Analysed the market to identify key target customer segments and understand the competition. Recommended ideal positioning vs. the competition.
  • Created a brand mark, brand applications book, design guidelines, room and food & beverage concepts.
  • Placed an experienced General manager to organise all the pre-opening processes and hire all the key staff.
  • Supported the client’s project team throughout the construction, pre-opening and market launch phases.
