Mike Wrigley is an accomplished, commercially-astute professional in the fields of technology, finance and operations in Europe, the USA, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Mike has an excellent record for partnership building between IT organisations, hotel management companies, real estate owners, private investors, operational management and technology suppliers.
Mike was managing director of Cyntergy (EAME) Ltd, the branch of a Washington DC technology services company. He established and developed the business on the strength of a significant contract awarded by Bass/Holiday Inn to roll out property management, point of sales and revenue management systems worldwide. Cyntergy EAME successfully contracted for similar projects with companies such as Micros/Fidelio, IBM, Asda, Superdrug, Liberty’s and Forte during his tenure.
Prior to Cyntergy, Mike was director of hotel systems and telecommunications (EAME) for ITT Sheraton Corporation headquartered in Brussels. The role involved IT strategy, outsourced systems development, RFP/tender management, outsourced resource management, installations co-ordination and support service contracting for all systems and telecommunications in the division. In the late 1980s, Mike moved into technology with ITT Sheraton. Earlier, he had held financial controllership roles in Europe and the Middle East with ITT Sheraton as well as THF Hotels, Truman Brewers and Granada.
He also held financial positions with THF Hotels, Truman Brewers and Granada. Mike is fully conversant on a broad platform of technologies such as:

• Centrally hosted (ASP) solutions
• IP telecommunications
• Converged structured cabling
• MPLS/VPN networks
• Access control
• In-room guest systems.
Consulting services have been supplied to companies such as Hilton International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Rouse Kent Property Developers, De Vere Hotels & Resorts, Kempinski Hotels, Jury’s Doyle
Hotels, Regus Group, NOS Corporation and the Minoan Group and have included:
• sourcing and implementation of web enabled enterprise wide accounting systems

Mike is a graduate of Blackpool’s Department of Hotel Management and Administration and is a member of the British Association of Hospitality Accountants. During the last eight years, he has spoken at conferences sponsored by HosTec, HiTEC and BAHA on such topics as ASPs, ‘chip and PIN’, international telecommunications, VoIP, WiFi and digital applications.
